Midmar Mile

The world’s largest open water swimming event took place over the past weekend at the Midmar Dam in KwaZulu-Natal. It is the 49th edition of the 2022 aQuellé Midmar Mile and DPHS were well represented with 8 boys swimming a mile. The three boys from the Junior Primary were Matt Shea (Grade 1 and the youngest finisher), Kurt Meyer (Grade 3) and Brett Mitchell (Grade 3). From the Senior Primary there were 5 boys, Noah Deeb (Grade 4), Cruz Chapman (Grade 6), Carter Selier (Grade 6), James Swart (Grade 7) and Mthunzi Mqadi (Grade 7). Congratulation to these swimmers.
