We are so proud to share this message from @Erich Schravesande DPHS Old Boy 1980
“Dear Mr. Wilson…On Friday night your 1st 15 gave my son a proper rugby lesson. On Saturday morning I took my son to watch your U10 A’s so that he could see where it all starts, where real men grow up.
It was with such pride that I showed my kid the very same rugby culture that existed when I was at Prep in 1980. At the tournament I witnessed a School teacher from another high school video recording the boys running back to the kick off after their many tries, he had never witnessed such behavior. No hugging, kissing and celebrating, just waiting for kick off as they should and as we were taught. There are so many life lessons within that culture.
I am so proud of you and the school, thank you for keeping the culture alive. Hats off the the boys and coaches, their behavior and play on and off the field was exceptional.
Best regards, Erich Schravesande ”
