Mathematics Challenge

Two Grade 6 boys Mnini Zondo and Jake Wang, along with Mr Turner participated in the final round of the Primary Schools’ South African Mathematics Challenge hosted at Kearsney College. Some of the most mathematically-talented pupils and teachers from KZN primary schools took the opportunity to join the Challenge finalists at the training sessions. The training was aimed at helping the pupils, and teachers, to develop their problem-solving skills, strategies and techniques. The boys and staff enjoyed the learning experience. DPHS received feedback from a participating school that they were blown away by the DPHS boys manners and respect during this challenge. We loved hearing this feedback and are incredibly proud of these boys and their behaviour.
