Literacy & Friendship Day

Durban Preparatory High School and The LEARN Project celebrated National Book Week with their Literacy & Friendship Day. About 75 Grade 3 learners and staff from Sophunga Primary celebrated the day with DPHS. There was singing and stories from Ros Toerien, gumboot dancing, fitness, skills and time to play on the jungle gym. This extremely enjoyable and worthwhile day was concluded with an ice cream treat. Not only was it a day full of worthwhile activity but the caring and friendship shown between the “buddies” made this day a very special and memorable one.
