KZN Athletics

The 2021 KZNA sub-youth track & field championships were held on Saturday the 13th of November at Kingspark in Durban. Congratulations to our 2021 champions, Zakhele Ngcobo, Matthew Hall and Quade Strydom. Zakhele won a gold medal in the U13 200m and a silver in the U13 100m. Matthew achieved a gold medal in the U11 long jump with a jump of 4.72m, another gold medal for the 80m and a silver medal for his U11 100m. Quade Strydom achieved the following results in the U9 age group. 1st place Javelin, Silver – 60m sprint and Bronze – 80m Sprint. These three boys will now represent KZN at the South African Championships at the end of the month in Germiston. Well done !!
