The challenge is all about honouring Mandela by honouring each other. How we see people matters – more than what we say or do. Bhambayi Project is a neutral initiative and something to really build for the future positively.
The theme: #itstartswithme and the message is – let’s honour Mandela by honouring each other. Instead of looking to others to be the change it starts with us. The focus is not handouts but how we see others- that’s where it starts. How we choose to see people is more important than what we say or do.
The Participation we would like:
- We will be encouraging everyone to post their ‘Honour heroes’ – those they know who live this type of honour in their lives every day.
- We would love it, if families could post on their social media platforms that they are getting involved in the Mandela Day 2020 Challenge and post a photo of themselves/their family and challenge others to do the same. We ask everyone to please use the following hashtags: #itstartswithme #bhambayiproject #mandeladay2020
