Hooked on Books

The Hooked on Books travelling show is always a success as there is nothing like dramatising excerpts from exciting books to create interest amongst children.
The Junior Primary loved each of the featured books and participated with enthusiasm and delight as the actors had them dressed up as crocodiles, frogs, parrots and captains of the sea.

The Senior Primary sat engrossed as they spoke about mystery and murder, science and experiments as Hooked on Books excitedly enacted their featured books. The audience participation was so entertaining and the boys loved the show.

The highlight for both phases was the poem about rapping grannies, especially the back flip which left the boys in awe.
Thank you to Hooked on Books and we can’t wait for your return.
