Grade 7 Excursion

Learning through experience has enormous benefits for children. This was highlighted recently when the DPHS Grade 7 boys had an opportunity of attending a Point Waterfront Tour with Durban Walking Tours.
The excursion included a little bit of everything for everyone. A talk from Transnet about the importance of dredging, a walk around the NSIR, a talk about CPR, a visit to a surf shop (where the boys watched them shaping a board) and a walk through the harbour tunnel.
