Grade 5 – Ancient Civilisation Day was a HUGE success

Part of the DPHS Social Science syllabus involves the studies of ancient civilisations and to explore this theme further the Grade 5s had an “Ancient Civilisations’ Day this term.
During class, the boys completed projects and delivered oral presentations on their chosen civilisation, culminating in a special dress-up day in the Maurice Wilkinson Hall.
Activities which had been identified as hobbies or pastimes from ancient civilisations were taught by the boys to their peers.
This was a fun-filled and interactive day, enjoyed by all.
