On the 12th and 13th of September our Grade 3 boys went on their first overnight excursion to Roselands. It was a fun filled trip away from school and home where our boys had the opportunity to learn in a totally different environment. It was a wonderful day of all play and no school work. Canoeing, zip lining, jumping of the jetti, rolling and walking in mud and the challenging obstacle course were a treat for our boys.
They also had a taste of history and learnt more about nature. It was certainly a very memorable and exciting first overnight for our boys.
Grade 5 Art : Clay Sun Faces
During the past rainy weather in Durban, the DPHS grade 5s were creating sculptured suns in clay. These were based upon Aztec suns and the results were pleasing.
