The DPHS Grade One boys celebrated the end of the term three by visiting the Flag Farm.
Early morning clouds and the prediction of rain did not dampen high spirits. Upon arrival the classes were divided into groups and assigned to staff who guided our boys through the farm.
Tactile experience with reptiles, milking a cow, close contact with wolves as well as feeding various animals were enjoyed by all. On boy’s explanation for his dirty clothes was “we slipped when the goose chased us”!
Owners and staff complimented our boys on their behavior and participation. Tired, happy boys and teachers returned to school after a memorable day.
