DPHS Honours the Fallen

EVERY year DPHS marks Remembrance Day with the placing of a wreath at the Memorial Gates at the school entrance.

The boys of Grade 7Bedford presented an assembly where they explained the history and significance of the occasion. The assembly ended with three boys accompanying the headmaster to the memorial plaque to lay the wreath while the assembly observed a few minutes silence in honour of those who had fallen during conflict.
This year the French Horn added poignancy to the assembly with the rendition of The Last Post.
