In his book David Campese, a former Austrialian rugby player, whose son Jason attended DPHS, tells the story of his rise from humble beginnings to the very top of a global sport, which is very fitting with the DPHS motto, “From Small Beginnings, Better Fortune Follows”.
Amongst some of the DPHS boys to receive the special signed copy of David Campese’s book ” Campese”, were former Springboks rugby players sons’, Cai Terblanche (dad Stefan Terblanche), Anathi Ndungane (dad Odwa Ndungane), Jesse and Rex James (dad Butch James), Zanru Deysel (dad Jean Deysel), Evan Halstead (dad Trevor Halstead) and Benji & Jamie Russell (dad – Brent Russell).
