The swimming season has started, giving the DPHS boys an opportunity to shine in the pool. For these boys they have trained throughout winter and are ready for the local galas. Recently there were two that our boys attended and did incredibly well.
Art Mpungose competed in the Beavers Gala where he won ten medals; eight gold and two silver. He was awarded the overall male point scorer for the entire gala.
Zane Van Der Nest swam in the Westville Sprints in the boys 10 year age category and he achieved 4th in the Freestyle heat, 1st in the Individual Medley and Butterfly, 3rd for Backstroke, 2nd for Breaststroke.
