Grade Two

The main emphasis in Grade 2 is on the further development and application of the basic skills that have been introduced in Grade 1. In each of the 4 classes, the competent teachers provide a caring and stimulating environment in which the boys are encouraged to develop self-discipline, independence, responsibility and a love for learning.

Apart from the teaching of Literacy, Numeracy and Life Skills, the programme also includes Music, Speech and Drama, Computers, Zulu, Ball Skills, Swimming and Excursions to interesting venues around Durban.

At the end of a busy and rewarding year, the boys leave Grade 2 well- equipped to deal with the challenges of the next stage of their schooling.
