Grade Four

Grade 4 is the beginning of the Senior Primary Phase. In this important year the boys develop greater levels of independence in the classroom as well as on the sports field. New subjects such as the Sciences are introduced into their course of study. The learners now become familiar with a quantitive assessment procedure in the form of tests and the allocation of marks. Their program is enriched with day and overnight excursions in addition to guest speakers and activities. Arguably, a highlight of the year is the annual Countries and Cultures Day. This fun-filled day is the culmination of the first important project in the Senior Primary Phase.
